An incredible day trip with the Grey Whales

I went on this tour with my 5-year-old daughter. Everything was excellent!! It lasted the whole day but went smoothly, comfortably, and was super safe. On the day of the tour, they were very punctual and we felt comfortable at all times. Seeing the whales was the best experience of my life!!! We saw many whales. Everyone on the boat had the chance to touch a whale. It was just so exciting!!!

What is included in the gray whale expedition?

Includes 2 days of whale watching (6 hours per day), accommodation at an exclusive camp, all meals during the stay, round-trip transportation from La Paz, marine biologist guide, and all necessary equipment for the activities.

What should I bring for the expedition?

It is recommended to bring warm clothing, windbreaker, biodegradable sunscreen, lip balm, camera, and personal hygiene items.

How many people participate in each expedition?

The minimum number of participants is 2 people, and the maximum is 6 per boat. The tents are either double or single occupancy.

What happens if I don’t see whales during the expedition?

Although it is very rare not to see whales in this area, if it happens, the team will do their best to ensure a unique experience.

What type of food is offered at the camp?

Three full meals per day are offered, with local and fresh options, adapted to special diets if necessary. Meals include traditional dishes and vegetarian options.

What is the accommodation like at Mag Bay camp?

Accommodation is in luxury tents (glamping), located in a spectacular natural setting, with amenities to ensure comfort during the stay. Occupancy is double, though a supplement can be paid for single occupancy if you prefer not to share.

What is the booking and cancelation policy?

For one-day tours, a 40% deposit of the total payment is required to complete or secure the booking if made more than 7 days in advance. If the reservation is made less than 7 days in advance, full payment is required.

For packages including multiple activities, a 40% deposit of the total payment is required if the booking is made more than 60 days in advance. If made within 60 days, full payment is required.

If the company cancels the activity due to “unforeseen circumstances” such as weather, mechanical issues, or lack of participants, you will receive a 100% refund. For all cancellations requested by clients, any advance payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers unforeseen personal emergencies such as illness or accidents.
