"Perfect day with sea lions What a fantastic day with Juan Carlos and Captain Arturo. Mid October is the perfect time to do this tour as the mommy sea lions have given birth over the summer. We got to see and swim with sea lion pups. We also saw some little ones nursing with their mommies The fish in the area are also quite beautiful. Juan Carlos has a deep understanding of not only marine biology, but ecology and geology. We learned so much about the area. The scenery is spectacular. It was a truly delightful trip. Lunch was fantastic on a beautiful beach. Highly recommend this trip."

"Don’t miss it! John and Alex were great they took great care of us and were very knowledgeable about the wildlife here. The water was super warm and getting up close to sea lions was amazing. The water clarity and the sheer volume of fish on the reef were exceptional. I had a great time."

"La Paz-Balandra Bay We were very happy with our private tour (Balandra Bay). We arrived via cruise ship and MTA’s boat was ready and waiting for us right at the dock. All communication leading up to our event was excellent. Many thanks to Captain Christian and our guide, Esteban! Both were very kind and hospitable throughout. Esteban was very patient and helpful in guiding my adult daughter during sea lion snorkeling, reassuring her comfort and safety during this unique experience. We felt very safe and had total confidence in this team and their knowledge of the area and marine ecosystems. We kayaked the mangroves, enjoyed swimming in the bay, and had a shaded lunch on the beach (with cookies too!) and to the chefs - - I vote for the green/jicama ceviche! (Although both were delicious!). I have always wanted to see Balandra this way and look forward to booking with them again! Thank you MTA!"

"Would book this tour again!! Truly fantastic! would book a tour with Omar, Lorenza and Alexis any day! Seeing espiritu island up close was worth the boat rides. The highlights were seeing the sea lions up close (about 20 yards) the pups were curious so they would approach the boat and snorkeling with them was a bucket list experience. There was also a small cove with tons of coral, beautiful fish, starfish, lobster! it was small and unexpected but that was a gem! Then because of the winds we ended up having the most epic ceviche lunch on Bonanza beach and this beach was made in dreams, just absolutely prestine, clear, warm and we enjoyed every second. We'll be back on that beach for sure! our guides Omar, Lorenza and Alexis took care of us, explained what we were seeing and checked in on us to be sure we were comfortable and enjoyed the tour. 10/10 stars, would do this again with this tour group! THANK YOU for such a unique experience."
